Description Experimental designs are always limited by the possibilities of technological solutions used for data collection. This paper aims at presenting hardware and software solution for eye-tracking implemented in an immersive virtual reality device, which was designed for the purpose of a cross-cultural study. This study focuses on differences in visual perception, and distri-bution of attention on focal objects and the scene’s background is the main parameter to measure. As for hardware, eye-tracking kit by Pupil Labs and HTC Vive Pro head mounted display were used. The experimental stimuli including eye-tracking data collection component were created in the Unity engine. This paper presents inter alia the nature of the collected eye-tracking data and selected options for their analysis.
