Description | In 2019, Masaryk University conducted a nationwide research focused on the ways and level of musical folklore application in music education at primary and secondary schools in the Czech Republic. Nearly 600 teachers responded to the online questionnaire. The paper reflected the results of the research on the current state of music education in the Czech Republic regarding teachers' attitudes to folk music, the importance of folklore heritage in the education of the young generation, difficulties in the application of folk music in school and suggestions for improvement. |
