| Description | In my contribution, I want to deal with the methodological aspects of astronomy in the second half of the 17th century. My contribution compares the methodological views of Cartesian philosophers of the second half of the 17th century (J. Rohault, P.-S. Régis, C. Gaudroys) with those of professional astronomers (J.-D. Cassini, J. Picard, A. Auzout). |
