Description | This paper tests measurement equivalence of the populist attitudes scale employed in the Module 5 of the Comparative Study of Electoral Systems(CSES). Using the 2017 Czech National Election Study dataset (N = 1559) this paper explores whether the CSES scale measures populist attitudes the same way across different society groups. Subsequently, latent means of these groups are compared to evaluate to what extent the prevailing image of a populist citizen holds within the Czech context. |
