| Description | The author focuses on the strategies adopted by both sides of the dispute - the Order of the Teutonic Knights and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth - in developing political propaganda. He tries to find the reasons for the failure, if it can be called that, on the side of the Order, which could not defend its position as successfully as the opposing side. It is not only a question of the arguments used and the literary or scholarly instruments that were available, but also of the effective influence of the ideas propagated. |
