Description | The following contribution presents a new and broader concept of mediation, as formulated in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment. Companion Volume (CoE, 2020a; CoE, 2020b). The classification of mediation activities and strategies is described in more detail, including examples of new scales and descriptors to assess mediation skills. The paper aims to offer Czech teachers and didactics of foreign languages an insight into the issues and, therefore to contribute to their awareness and motivation to implement mediation in their teaching. |
