| Description | The present study discusses the personality of Nikolai Nikolayevich Ryzhkov, the Russian Orthodox priest who was active in the Czech Orthodox churches at the beginning of the 20th century. This text presents his biographical portrait and is based mostly on preserved archival materials. The study describes the most important milestones in the life of this clergyman. It is pointed out that the political milieu of his time had a strong impact on the course of Ryzhkov's life. |
