| Description | The aim of the paper is to present a review, which is part of the dissertation and deals with the image of geography from the perspective of students. The review summarizes the current knowledge about the image of geography. Geography is facing a crisis of identity, declining interest of pupils and its curriculum time within basic education in the Czech Republic is endangered. The review offers answers to the questions: What is the image of geography among students, how is it perceived? What image-measuring method is the best? What factors influence image the most? Based on these findings, the author will propose her own dissertation research. |
