| Description | The publication is intended for full-time and part-time students of primary school teaching. It covers a large part of the content of teaching mathematics in the first and partly second semester at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University in Brno. The first chapter of this publication is devoted do propositional logic, basic knowledge of sets and the construction of mathematical theorems. The second chapter summarizes the curriculum in the field of binary relations, their properties and representations between sets. Both chapters are designed in such a way that they continuously acquaint the reader with the basic concepts of the mentioned areas, which are followed by the solved tasks. It summarizes the conclusion of both chapters use of propositional logic, basic knowledge of sets and binary relations in the curriculum of the 1st grade of elementary school. At the end, each subchapter is supplemented with tasks to practise with the results, or instructions for their solution. |
