Description | During investigation in 2007 in Museum Bytom (Poland) we determined 77 pieces of polished stone artefacts from the viewpoint of archaeological typology and petrographic composition. We found substantially presented two groups: tools of the Funnel Beaker culture made of Culmian siltstones and massive battle-axes produced from serpentinites and connected with the Upper Silesian Lengyel group or Corded Ware culture. Marble polished tools or jewels have not been ascertained. |
