Description | This presentation aims to present and popularize the Master’s thesis Towards a Sustainable Humanity throughout European gynecological communities. It illustrates the discord between sustainability as an ideal (a concept) and unsustainability as a fact. It discusses the problems humanity is causing both to the natural world and itself and argues for addressing population to get humanity to the long-term sustainable numbers. It presents different solutions and favors the full availability of family planning methods and services, education, and empowerment of girls and women. Further, the presentation introduces reproductive ethics and supports embracing smaller families as a global norm. |
