| Description | Is regional politics in the Czech Republic politics at all? Is there room for autonomous political decision-making at this level of self-government? The monograph by the young political scientist Petr Konečný, who presented the first comprehensive work on Czech regional politics from an institutional perspective, tries to answer these basic political science questions. The findings are based on transdisciplinary research on the process of creating the self-governing regions, their normative-institutional basis and the real manifestations of the Czech regional politics. The author also considers possible future paths of the regional level of territorial self-government in the Czech Republic. |
