Description | Intertextuality – especially referencing to other literary works, scientific terms and ideas or historical events and figures – is a characteristic feature of Miroslav Holub's poetry. This could be demonstrated in the case of Holub's various allusions of Greek mythology. In order to enrich the posttexts both semantically and pragmatically, the initial myths are very often actualized, recontextualized, modified and/or transformed. The study tries to analyze specific ways of using these myths and how they function within selected texts of Holub's work. |
