Description The Covid-19 pandemic disrupted traditional learning environments worldwide, forcing a shift to online education. In Nigeria, this transition was hindered by limited access to the internet and computers, posing significant challenges for teachers. This study employs a survey and questionnaire to analyze the experiences of teachers in Abuja, a region with comparatively better educational infrastructure. The research examines the support teachers received during the pandemic, their struggles amidst Nigeria's economic challenges, and the impact on their ability to deliver education. Drawing on scientific articles and qualitative analysis, the paper highlights the need for improved preparation for future pandemics, emphasizing sustainable education systems and support mechanisms for Nigerian teachers. It calls for an evolution in learning spaces to ensure adaptability for teachers and students in Nigeria and other developing countries.
