| Description | This clinical guideline addresses a comprehensive approach to primary prevention of cardiovascular disease. However, based on epidemiological analysis and conclusions that present a gradual reduction of mortality from cardiovascular disease in the Czech Republic, mortality is still high. The Czech Republic is one of the most risky countries in the EU in terms of CVD incidence and interdisciplinary cooperation is needed - general practitioners, cardiologists and internists. The aim of the recommended procedures at the national level is to standardise preventive procedures, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and in the long term to reduce CV mortality by at least 5% over 10 years. |
