• Description: In 1997 to 2009 there was carried out geological mapping and determination of geological riscs especially for big cities in three countries of Central America: Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Salvador. The project was under leading of P. Hradecký from Czech Geological Survey in Prague and A. Přichystal including our former students from Masaryk University took part in it. Thanks to the project, our knowledge of geology of these three countries was substantially shifted ahead and especially there were marked territories exposured to danger by volcanism, earthquake and landslides.
