Description In many cases, it is necessary to preserve the value of prized archaeological objects and it is not possible to carry out analyzes that would alter their appearance, compromise their integrity, jeopardize their durability or otherwise reduce their quality. Therefore, non-destructive analysis is used in these cases. The presented technical solution relates to the possibility of taking miniature quantities of samples so that the 2D morphology of the surface on the sample is preserved. It is thus a way for transporting a solid phase of a certain composition to a substrate. The solution itself is a plate of various shape and stiffness with an adhesive layer, which serves both to collect and store the sample. Analyzes are then performed directly on the sampling plate. The method is by its nature a method that provides only surface information and is also suitable for research of large objects, non-movable objects or surfaces with large curvature.
