Description | At present, we have an increasing need to be part of the digital space and still exist in the physical space. The way we see and the life we live fluctuates between biological and digital reality. In this case, to see and live means to connect corporeality, materiality, the virtual environment, and language as the basic means of human communication into one world, which the American artist Rhonda Holberton presents to us with a hand cast in digital space and a semantic gesture. Rhonda Holberton's work focuses primarily on multimedia installations using interactive and digital technologies and also works as an assistant professor of digital media at San Jose State University. Her work is part of important collections of contemporary art in San Francisco. She has had countless group and solo exhibitions. This exhibition was a part of the three exhibitions cycle named "Start to see". |
