Description | The conference aimed to identify, examine, and discuss the actors, practices, and ideologies that impact, and which are instrumental to, linguistic integration. In the presentation we have shown the teachers` perspective on multilingualism in two urban schools. We used the documentary method to analyze interviews with teachers at concerned schools. Presented results indicated that students’ linguistic reality is not addressed in the context of pedagogical practice and that there is a lack of practical tools necessary to address issues of language diversity. |
