Description | The regional forms of a village house in the territory of the Czech Republic includes a house in Central Moravia (Haná). The older development phase is characterised by an avant-corps (žudr), a massive fore-body of the side oriented house (okapově orientovaný dům), but in southeast Haná region a storey chamber was integrated into the house layout beside the chamber. The second half of the 19th century led to the unification of the Haná building tradition, which is a continuous farmstead half-storey above the entire residential house. Older developmental forms of the house in Haná, which are the subject of monument protection, are found in Příkazy (Olomouc district) and in Rymice (Kroměříž district), on which we will further focus. In spite of modernisation in the 20th century, many buildings that represented the architectural culture of the Eastern Haná village in the 18th century and first half of the 19th century have survived in Rymice. |
