| Description | The article is dealing with the primary analysis of a long-term prospecting activity in the neighbourhood of the municipality of Ruda. The survey was targeted at detection of terrain relics of mining activities and at surface collecting in areas identified with the help of orthogonal aerial images and LiDAR data. A control surface collection after the discharge of the Rudický pond has yielded a significant amount of ceramic fragments which are generally dated to the 13th century. Apart from these fragments, relics of iron ore processing, and maybe also iron metallurgy, were found as well. |
