| Description | This case report describes a patient's case where a trivial traumatic wound resulted in a complicated phlegmon with the need for two surgical revisions of the wound under general anesthesia and long-term hospitalization. Points to the problem of alcoholism and homelessness in connection with non-compliance of the patient and subsequent aggravation of the disease, prolongation of wound healing and hospitalization and, last but not least, increased financial burden on the health system |
