Description | This paper focuses on the attitude of Czech and Slovak college students toward learning Spanish with native and non-native teachers. The research is being conducted to verify the prominence of the native speaker as a role model in learning a foreign language. A questionnaire was used to find out from the students’ perspective the advantages and disadvantages of learning the language with a native teacher and a nonnative teacher. The results have helped to establish that there is no supremacy of one type of teacher, as they complement each other at different stages of the learning process. |
