| Description | The majority of the forms of traditional transport began to disappear in the second half of the 20th century, and thus the objects used for the transport of material also disappeared from ordinary life. A fraction of them has been preserved in use or as part of the museum‘s collections. There are multiple ways to approach the research topic. The aim of the paper is to outline the basic classification of the forms of traditional transport in the Czech and Slovak environment and to present a suitable description of the objects used for material transport, now mostly in the museums’ collections. The purpose of the text is also to draw attention to selected theoretical pitfalls that a curator may encounter in practice of systematizing the terminology of transport objects. |
