Description The aim of this work is to compare the effectiveness of two eight-week intervention HIIT programs and to find out which method will have a greater effect on aerobic and anaerobic capacity, and thus body composition. The research sample consists of two intervention groups and one control group. The groups are men, recreational athletes (25-45 years). The measurement will take place at the beginning, in the middle of the cycle and after the intervention and effectiveness will be demonstrated by Wingate test (anaerobic capacity) spiroergometric examination on a treadmill to determine VO2 max (aerobic capacity) and by InBody (body composition). The first intervention program is the so-called Tabata, where probands perform exercises in a maximum load of 20 s with 10 s rest in eight rounds. The second intervention program is to change the rest phase variable to 20s. The aim is to identify and compare efficacy, and with regard to the health of the trainees and the sustainability of the application at the time of such assessment, whether more demanding means more effective, while very intensive means more risky. Given that the number of probands (30-45) will be effective using Cohen's d. So far, a pilot study has been conducted, the results of which were in the context of planned life research at the conference.
