| Description | The exhibition is a result of a collaborative project involving four Brno-based institutions: the Moravian Museum, the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University, Moravian Library, and the Institute of Ethnology at the Czech Academy of Sciences. Against the background of the Christian liturgical year, the exhibition presents well-known and lesser-known saints and holidays, their reflections in broadside ballads and folk culture. Through textual, pictorial, musical, and three-dimensional material, it connects seemingly unrelated, seemingly outdated topics with real life and the present. The exhibition is accompanied by an interactive touch screen, and video loop. |
