Description The essay focuses on the concept of 'moral ecology' and its usefulness in explaining and tackling moral issues of modern times and how these manifest not only as separate acts of individuals, but as a web of behavior creating certain moral environment. Despite significant political difference, Central Europe shares with its Western counterparts all the important issues, and while the state has a role to play in addressing these issues, the problem is primarily moral, not political.
