| Description | In her talk the author pays attention to language attrition in multilingual speakers. The author reflects together with the participants on when is language acquisition finished and when can we speak of attrition or forgetting. The author defines the terms language attrition and incomplete acquisition. Factors influencing the attrition process are also presented. Main focus is laid on losing one's language in the childhood and on the question of whether it is possible at all. |
