| Description | This paper is dedicated to the efforts of Karl of Liechtenstein to gain dominion of Pardubice. It is seemingly regional affair from years 1608-1614, but whole affair is tightly connected to the most important political events of the first quarter of 17th century in Habsburg monarchy. Integral part of this paper is presentation of nowadays barely known person Martin Fruwein of Podolí, mediator of this affair. He was later one of the most important leaders of the bohemian estates uprising. Research results are supplemented by presentation of remained archival sources. |
