Description | AlPO4 and GaPO4 are formed in the reaction of phosphoric acid triesters OP(OR)3, (R = Me, Et, n-Bu, SiMe3) with aluminium and gallium amides [M(NMe2)3]2, M = Al (1), Ga (2), respectively, in nonaqueous solvents. The model for the initial step in these reactions is an adduct (Me2N)3Al.OPPh3 (3). AlPO4 also results from the reaction of AlCl3 with OP(OSiMe3)3. Alumazene gives a bis-adduct [MeAlNDipp]3.2OP(OMe)3 (5) with trimethyl phosphate. |
