| Description | Our tendency is to move from a transfer of knowledge to mediating style of scientific work. We have opened Master study programs to Bachelors from other schools, we stress scientific work as an inevitable basis for teaching, we are abandoning a comprehensive interpretation of problems for stressing their multiparadigmatic reflection, we want to emphasise independent work of our students. Even though we do not know whether our direction will be successful, it seems to be close to the requirement expressed by Wallerstein (1999). That is a transition from culture of Sociology to a constitution of open culture of social sciences. |
