Description Lowland meadow wetlands are unique biotopes that perform many ecosystem functions in the landscape services and are used as important biodiversity hotspots. Nowadays, however, most wetlands are threatened with significant degradation and even extinction, leading to efforts to restore and subsequently maintain them, resulting in the stabilization of these habitats. However, it is well known that differently set parameters of implemented actions, especially mowing and grazing management, can have different effects on individual components of the wetland community. The methodology presents best practices suitable for ongoing assessment of the overall biodiversity of the wetland community, the application of which allows for optimization of management and subsequent evaluation of its impact.
