| Description | The text answers the question: What is the perspective of promoting opportunities for people with MH to engage in the local community from a socially-oriented approach to intellectual disability? In the first part, it presents some background to inclusive perspectives on promoting opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities. The second part of the book presents the findings and experiences of the Czech part of a team consisting of residents of a selected sheltered housing (hereafter referred to as "sheltered housing"), their social workers and academics who were jointly involved in the implementation of a project to support the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities in leisure activities.
