| Description | The speech aimed to partially introduce the research of the Ph.D. thesis focusing on the influence of Latin on the functions and word order of particles in older Czech language. General attention was given to the methods of classification of function words and to the various use of the term “particle” in the grammars of the Czech language from the 16th to the 19th century. The second part of the speech focused on the classification, functions, semantics and syntactic properties of the word “zajisté” in the chosen grammars. |
