| Description | Current reimbursement models are starting to fall short on the most modern medicinal products. These are often personalized therapies designed for specific patients. It is no longer possible to rely on data from clinical trials conducted on tens of thousands of patients, which are the basic building block of contemporary evidence-based medicine. Doctors and payers cannot do without data on the results of treatment in real clinical practice - but where to get them? And how to convince the health insurance companies, which may hesitate to introduce these drugs into the system without sufficient evidence due to concerns about the budgetary impact? The Zdravotnické deník round table dealt with the issue of unequal access to oncology care. |
