Citation
Description In recent years, flaneurism has become a theme close to the aesthetics of the everyday, which shows that this aimless wandering through the city need not be limited to the well-known Baudelairian characteristics that Walter Benjamin later grasped. It is interesting that the German bohemian Nora Schmidt has devoted a voluminous monograph to Czech flaneur literature, while our scholars have dealt with the topic rather marginally. In the present paper I would like to point out some contemporary texts connecting flaneurism with the aesthetics of everyday life (Thomas Leddy, etc.) and at the same time I would like to present its specific grasp in the Brno environment of the 1970s.
