| Description | Spontaneously arising temporal field wetlands are an overlooked phenomenon not only in South Moravia. These habitats host interesting communities of organisms, including protected and endangered species. Among aquatic invertebrates, large branchiopods, aquatic beetles, bugs and small planktonic crustaceans belong to the most important. Despite the great value of them, the possibilities of their protection are very limited. |
