| Description | The research of the dissertation deals with the needs of users of addictive substances in the execution of a custodial sentence. The aim of the project is to map these needs and their transformation after entering prison at the same time as changes in the user's experience of their SUD (substance use disorder). The design of the research is mixed with the use of in-depth semi-structured interviews followed by a questionnaire survey. The methods are based on Maslow's hierarchy of needs and diagnostic criteria for SUD according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual. |
