Description | This paper firstly introduces the PhD research which focuses on usage and exploration of authentic literary texts (ALT) in a French as a foreign language (FFL) classroom. Secondly, it presents the results of the quantitative part of the research, i.e. results of a questionnaire survey which took place in spring 2022. The research focused on secondary-school teachers of French as a foreign language (FFL) in the Czech Republic. The results of the survey show that Czech FFL teachers are interested in using ALT in their FFL classrooms, they use ALT as an important source in language teaching and motivate their students to explore these resources as well. |
