| Description | The study outlines the origin and development of the friendship between the literary scholar Jan Mukařovský and the writer Vladislav Vančura. The core of the work is the presentation and critical reflection of Jan Mukařovský's studies, lectures and afterwards, in which he analysed the work of Vladislav Vančura. His long-standing intention was to write a monograph on Vančura. Although he never wrote it, it can be at least partially "composed" from his works on Vančura. |
