| Description | This research report provides a comprehensive analysis of the legislative and technical requirements placed on metering and load management systems, from a system perspective, as well as the consumption point level for the design of the concept of a future distribution network load management system. The analysis maps the strategic level with an assessment of the impact of the current developments on the strategic documents for the transformation of the energy sector to load management, formulates scenarios and targets for possible future developments with respect to the load management system, summarises the current and upcoming EU and national legislative framework and its requirements for smart metering, evaluates the available features of HDO, AMM and other technologies for the distribution system and sets out the targets for the future load management system. |
