Description In this paper, we work with the secondary analysis of a survey conducted by students of the Institute of Ethnology of the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in 2021 with their grandparents based on a semi-structured questionnaire. Interviews were conducted with 81 respondents aged from 58 till 94 years. Questions from the following areas were asked: changes in what and how we eat; changes in all activities related to food such as planning, purchasing, cooking, eating; how older people react to climate change and demands for "different" food; how they are influenced by advertising and what cultural-anthropological significance these changes have for their identity as older people.
