| Description | Ensuring that older people can live with dignity, take decisions for themselves and participate in society, and be protected when they need it (e.g. in the context of health care or social security) is best achieved through instruments based on human rights systems. Such systems exist today both within international law, both at the universal and regional level, and within the legal systems of individual states, including the Czech Republic. The publication pays attention to all these systems, which should be understood as complementary. |
