Description Teachers with practical experience in teaching physics at secondary schools express the opinion that a mathematical apparatus appropriate to a given physical topic cannot be used in its correct form in physics teaching, because it would exceed the level of students' ability to understand and apply this apparatus. This often applies to vector algebra as well. The paper polemicizes with this, generally certainly justified, opinion through examples from the field of selected physical disciplines.
