| Description | The legal regulation of donation of human body parts must take into account the requirement of altruism and solidarity (prohibition of commercialisation) on the one hand and the need for sufficient motivation of donors on the other. Compensation for expenses related to donation is permissible, which is reflected by the Czech legislator in various laws that provide for diametrically different and often vague ways of determining the financial compensation that can be provided to donors in addition to other benefits. |
