| Description | Pelvic floor disorders are a significant cause of discomfort for many patients. Despite low morbidity, anorectal dysfunctions have a very significant impact on the patient's quality of life. Therefore, the diagnosis should be aimed at all possible causes in order to treat them effectively. The aim of this paper is to provide information on the diagnostic possibilities of dynamic MR defecography in pelvic dysfunctions, which we have introduced at the Department of Imaging Methods of the FNUSA Brno in 2020. As of April 2023, the cohort consists of 220 examined patients. Anorectal dysfunctions are a multidisciplinary problem, therefore, cooperation with different specialties is essential to achieve good diagnostic and therapeutic results. |
