| Description | Securing electronic evidence represents one of the most pressing challenges for the contemporary criminal proceedings. In the contribution, the author reflects firstly on the possibilities of the current legislation, then on the proposed changes presented in the paragraph version of the new Code of Criminal Proceedings, and last but not least, he looks at this issue through the lens of differences in the legislation and in the approach of Czech and Slovak law enforcement authorities. The outputs of the contribution thus represent, on the one hand, a summary of the current state of de lege lata aplicata, on the other hand, possible inspiration from the intended new legal regulation and, finally, different approaches abroad. |
