Description | The presentation focused on the differences on the individual level of media accountability instruments (MAIs)/media accountability systems in selected post-transitive countries. The topic was approached through the lenses of journalistic education and training. The presentation showed that the majority of CEE post-transitive countries prove that the higher level of education equals a higher degree of critical, professional self-reflection but there are several exceptions (e.g. Bulgaria). It also seems that size of the country is not a factor in this and that some countries (e.g. Poland) need to be treated as specific exceptions. |
