At least 25% of patients over 60 years old experience some degree of impairment. Diagnostic, therapeutic, and treatment options and regimens are constantly expanding, rendering publications on this subject in the Czech Republic outdated. In the book "Age-Related Macular Degeneration," apart from commonly known facts, we learn about the possibilities of therapy for the dry form, gene therapy, and treatment using stem cells.
