| Description | This text is a response to the contributions of Ondřej Kadlec, Jaroslav Benak, Lukáš Králík and Arkady Alexandrov and Pavel Ondřejek responding to the book Citační analýza judikatury [Citation Analysis of Case Law]. Their reactions and suggestions are discussed across four categories: the obligation to follow case law and stare decisis, the strengths and weaknesses of the concept of optimal relevance, the strengths and weaknesses of the "macro view" of the Czech citation environment, which are then closely related to the questions of the feasibility of the proposed avenues of further research and the reflection on the follow-up research conducted by Alexandrov and Ondřejek. |
